Born in Fort Smith, Ark., and now living in Fayetteville, Ark.
Q: When/how did you become involved with Lightbearers?
A: I first became involved with Lightbearers in 2008 when I owned a small business. I immediately loved the Lightbearers vision. As God taught me more about Himself, I committed to follow Him wherever He would lead. After being called to leave my business, I spent a brief time in North Africa before landing at Lightbearers at the end of 2009. God is using me here in a variety of roles, including as Community Coordinator and Assistant Property Manager at Woodway Apartments, and as Coordinator for the Lightbearers Institute and the Lightbearers Underground.
Q: What is your favorite book and/or quote?
A: At the risk of sounding cliche, the Bible is my favorite book. A book that is divinely inspired by God and that covers every topic from suffering to our future dwelling with Christ has to be the best literature available.
Q: What excites you about the Lightbearers' vision?
A: For me, the most exciting thing about the Lightbearers vision is that 100 percent of a project contibution goes directly to the project. There are so many amazing, Gospel-centered projects that are funded by Lightbearers. I absolutely love being able to participate in sharing the love of Jesus Christ through the work of our global partners. I never get tired of hearing about the different, creative ways that our partners are sharing the Good News throughout the nations.
Q: Other than Jesus, what Bible character would you want to have lunch with?
A: Paul.
Q: Other than Bible characters, what three people, living or dead, would you want to have lunch with?
A: Matthew Henry, Charles Spurgeon, Gladys Aylward
Q: What does a fun, relaxing day look like for you?
A: The perfect day for me includes books, coffee and beautiful landscape. I absolutely love spending time reading the Word of God and other great books. There is no better place to do that than in the midst of God's amazing creation.
